HeARTstory 

HeARTstory, a 4-month artist residency organized by IDEAS xLab in partnership with American Heart Association, features an interdisciplinary group of artists, including photographers, poets and an illustrator, who will create a body of work that highlights the impact of heart disease on women through a contemporary lens. Showing that, whether you are 13 years old or 63 years old, heart disease can drastically impact your health, and being educated about the symptoms, and your own health, can be life saving. 

The project will culminate in the creation of a limited-edition book that features these stories of women who have undergone everything from heart transplants to congestive heart failure, and their caregivers and doctors. 

The HeARTstory book will be given as a Thank You to donors of the American Heart Associations' Go Red For Women campaign at the $500+ giving level. To learn more about IDEAS xLab, click here.
